GCHS CH Sherman's Scorched Earth Folly
(CHIC #108608)
Sherman was born July 27, 2013 and is our pick boy from the Bruno x Stella litter. As part of the Peanuts Gang he was the brown ribbon boy named Sherman. During a visit to the American Bullmastiff Association National Specialty in Atlanta, Georgia, we were priviledged to meet Louise Sanders of Bandog Bullmastiffs. I explained to Louise our Peanuts names as well as the historical aspect of naming our dogs. She smiled, laughed and decreed, based on location, his Peanuts name, he should be Sherman's Scorched Earth Folly after General William Tecumseh Sherman.
Sherman was the sweetie boy of the litter. Quick to share a lap and some kisses, he is a gentle and loving boy. His sisters have been known to ride roughshod over him, the good sport that he is, the response is usually a tail wag and a playful pounce.
Sherman weighs 127 pounds and comes in just under 26 inches. He stands with an impressive front, short back, square head, nice wrinkle and great expression. The boy has plenty of bone and tight feet. His moves effortlessly, even when he's in "Sunday Stroll" mode.
Sherman finished his Championship at fifteen months. Just over two years old he finished his Grand Championship. Before retirment, he achieved Bronze and Silver Grand Championships. He finished 2016 as the #6 Bullmastiff in All Breed Points and #11 in Breed Points. Additionally, he was back to back Top 25, has five Group 1 Awards and multiple group placements, Specialty show Best of Opposite, Select Dog, and Awards of Merit. Sherman retired in May of 2017.
